Crispy Chicken Wings

Crispy Chicken Wings

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs Chicken Wings
  • 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1 TB Paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 TB Butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven 425 degrees.
  • Fresh Chicken should be patted dry with towels.
  • Combine all ingredients, except butter, in a plastic bag and shake to mix.
  • Add chicken and shake to coat well.
  • Place melted butter on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.

Potato Skins With Cheese And Bacon

Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium unpeeled baking potatoes 2#
  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh chives
  • 1/4 cup non-fat sour cream

Instructions
 

  • Bake potatoes at 425°F for 1 hour (60 minutes) or until done
  • Cool slightly
  • Cut each potato in half lengthwise; scoop out pulp, leaving 1/4 inch thick skin.
  • Place potato shells on a baking sheet
  • Bake at 425°F for 8 minutes or until skins are crisp.
  • Cut bacon in to small pieces and cook in skillet.
  • Drain excess fat on paper towels and cool.
  • Divide cheese evenly among the shells
  • Bake at 425°F for 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
  • Sprinkle evenly with bacon and chives.
  • Serve with sour cream

  • 8 oz finely shredded medium or sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely minced onion
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp real mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 cup finely chopped nuts

Instructions
 

  • In large bowl, combined all ingredients, except nuts.
  • Make balls and roll cheese in chopped nuts until well coated,
  • Cover with plastic food wrap and chill until ready to serve.
  • Serve with crackers.

  • 1 - 10 oz can tomato soup
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup onion -- finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together all ingredients.
  • Pour over 1 pound of lil' smokies or 1 pound of hot dogs cut up into pieces.
  • Warm & Serve.
  • Enjoy !

Ingredients
  

  • 30 Chicken Wingettes
  • 6 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 to 2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • bleu cheese or ranch dressing
  • celery and carrot sticks

Instructions
 

  • In small sauce pan mix all ingredients.
  • Stirring occasionally, heat until butter is melted.
  • Deep fryer set at 375°F., (vegetable or peanut oil)
  • Fry 1/2 of the at a time for 12-15 minutes, so they fryer isn't overloaded.
  • Drain the wings for a few minutes then put them in a bowl or zip bag.
  • After all the wings have been fried, pour the sauce over them, cover or zip bag, and shake to completely coat the wings
  • Bake at 375°F for 5 minutes or you can eat them immediately.
  • Serve with carrot, celery sticks bleu cheese or ranch dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 6 large jalapeno peppers
  • 1 cup Monterey jack cheese
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Cut up bacon in to small pieces and cook.
  • Drain excess grease on paper towel.
  • Cool bacon.
  • Mix together cheese & bacon.
  • **WEAR GLOVES**
  • Remove jalapenos tops and cut in half.
  • De-seed and clean them.
  • Fill jalapenos with cheese/bacon mixture.

  • Repeat until all jalapenos are full.
  • Take 3 bowls and put milk in one, flour in another and bread crumbs in last.
  • Dip jalapenos in the milk and then in the flour.

  • Set aside and dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Repeat until all jalapenos are done.

  • 8 - 6 inch corn tortillas
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375° F
  • Cut tortillas in to quarters
  • Spray tortillas lightly with cooking oil on both sides.
  • On cookie sheet bake tortillas for 15 minutes, turning 1/2 way through time.
  • Makes 32 chips

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds prawn
  • 2 bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 8 ounces cherry tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • De-vein and clean the prawns
  • Mix chili powder, salt, lemon juice, and turmeric powder with 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a metal bowl
  • Marinate the prawns in the mixture
  • Let rest for 1 hour
  • While waiting, quarter the bell peppers and remove their seeds
  • Quarter the tomatoes
  • Spear the prawns, capsicum, and tomatoes onto the skewers. Alternate as you go
  • Place on hot grill and cook until well done, turning occasionally to avoid burning them
  • Serve Immediately

This is a great recipe if you are expecting guests, or you want to welcome someone to the neighborhood.  Next time someone moves in, take this over to them and you will be sure to make instant friends.  I would suggest making homemade bread to make this a sure hit.
