Sweet & Sour Pork

- 8 Pork Chops
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Combined all ingredients, except pork, in small sauce pan.
Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until mixture has thickened.
Pork over pork chops and refrigerate for 2 hours.
BBQ on grill until no longer pink.

Easy Green Veggie Fried Rice

- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup frozen broccoli florets thawed and drained
- 1/2 cup frozen peas thawed and drained
- 3 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh green onions including tops
Put a large heavy skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil and heat well, then add rice, stirring until light golden in color.
Add in the broccoli and peas, stir and cook until vegetables are tender, about 3 minutes.
Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions, stir until ingredients are all hot.

Citrus Wild Brown Rice Salad

- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 Tbsp white rice vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp real orange juice
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup cooked brown rice chilled
- 1/2 cup cooked wild rice chilled
- 2 green onions chopped
- 1 celery stalk chopped fine
- 1/2 red bell pepper chopped fine
- 1 orange segments removed and cut in half (or use mandarin oranges)
- 2 Tbsp golden raisins
- 2 Tbsp chopped almonds toasted
- mixed greens for serving optional
In bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, orange juice, soy, salt and pepper to taste.
Add all remaining ingredients and toss to coat evenly with dressing.
Server over mixed greens.

Fried Rice With Peppery Curry

- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons onions -- chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic -- chopped
- 1/2 cup green beans -- chopped
- 2 tablespoons peppery curry paste of your liking
- 5 cups cooked long-grain rice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat
Add the onion and saute for 3 minutes, then add the garlic and continue to saute until golden brown.
Add the beans and curry paste and saute for approximately 3 minutes.
Add the rice and soy sauce and saute until thoroughly hot , be careful not to overcook.
Garnish with cilantro and parshley
