Ingredients
  • 1½ lbs ground beef, pork or turkey
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon dried sage leaves
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup BBQ Sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix together all ingredients, except BBQ Sauce.
  3. Make in to loaf shape and place in 13x9 pan.
  4. Top with BBQ Sauce.
  5. Bake for 60 to 75 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (Turkey, Chicken or Pork can also be used)
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • salt and ground pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. In skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef, onions and peppers.
  2. Drain off excess liquid.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently.

 

Mozzarella Meatballs

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 lb. mild Italian sausage
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ lb. mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • Olive Oil
  • Marinara
Instructions
  1. In bowl mix beef, sausage, eggs, garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Make approximately 2" balls.
  3. Press mozzarella cubes in to middle of balls.
  4. Drizzle skillet with olive oil and cook until brown.

  6. Put marinara sauce in sauce pan and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or you can bake at 350F for 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef - lean
  • ¾ cup Onion - chopped
  • ¾ cup Sweet Bell Pepper - diced
  • 1½ cups Whole Kernel Corn
  • 2 cups Taco Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 - 16 oz can Refried Beans
  • 8 - 12 inch Flour Tortillas
  • 1 - 16 oz. package Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Butter - melted
  • shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • sour cream
  • salsa
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven 350°F
  2. Brown ground beef in skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add onion, bell pepper and corn to skillet.
  5. Cook for 6 minutes or until veggies are tender.
  6. Stir in taco sauce, chili powder, garlic salt, cumin and stir until well blended.
  7. Cook until all ingredients are heated though and then remove from heat.
  8. Take tortillas and spread a thin layer over each shell. Spoon beef mixture in the center and top with cheese.
  9. Roll up each tortilla separately and place them seam side down on a baking sheet.
  10. Brush with melted butter.
  11. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Garnish with lettuce, tomato, salsa and sour cream.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic -- mashed
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Tabasco sauce -- to taste
  • ½ bottle beer
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Remove cheese from fridge and allow to come to room temperature.
  2. Cut cheese in to small chunks and place in food processor.
  3. Process until smooth.
  4. Put in garlic, Worcestershire, mustard and Tabasco and blend well
  5. Put in beer a little at a time and mix well. Add beer until the mixture is a firm spreading consistency.
  6. Mix in salt.
  7. Refrigerate until chilled.
  8. Server with crackers and/or toasted rye bread.

  • 2 pounds grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ medium onion -- chopped fine
  • 2 cloves garlic -- chopped fine
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 12 oz can flat beer
Instructions
  1. In sauce pan, bring beer to a simmer.
  2. Blend all ingredients in a food processor.
  3. Chill for 2 hours.
  4. Serve with crackers or or bread chunks.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Bisquick. baking mix
  • Salt & pepper
  • ⅓ cup Water
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 1 can Refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound Ground beef
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F
  2. Combine, refried beans, Bisquick, and water in a bowl.
  3. Add bean mixture to greased pie plate.
  4. Season ground beef with salt & pepper to taste.
  5. Brown and drain ground beef.
  6. Place beef on top of bean mixture.
  7. Cover ground beef with salsa
  8. Top with cheese
  9. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  10. Let stand on cooling rack for 15 minutes.
  11. Serve with sides of sour cream, salsa or tortilla chips.

This is a quick and easy BBQ idea that you can throw together when company stops by unexpectedly.  It is easy to put together and always a favorite with my family for dinner.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef - 80/20
  • 1 Cup Cheese (your favorite variety)
  • ½ Cup Cooked Bacon
  • Salt and Pepper to taste.
Instructions
  1. Mix together ground beef, cheese and bacon.
  2. Make into patties
  3. Cook on the grill or in a pan.

  • 4½ pounds ground beef
  • 1½ cups onion -- chopped
  • 2¼ cups ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 18 hamburger buns
Instructions
  1. Brown ground beef and onion.
  2. Drain off grease.
  3. Add ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper and stir well.
